The National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds mourns the tragic death of Representative Jackie Walorski and the members of her congressional team, Zachery Potts and Emma Thomson. Jackie was a friend to and champion of the outdoor hospitality industry. We are forever grateful to her for her passionate and influential voice for all her constituents in Indiana’s 2nd district and the outdoor hospitality industry at large.
“Congresswoman Walorski was a key champion for our industry,” Paul Bambei, National ARVC President & CEO said. “She fought tirelessly for our industry’s causes, including the bipartisan Great American Outdoors Act which celebrates its two-year anniversary passage today. Her district represented the northern Indiana city of Elkhart, the epicenter of RV manufacturing, and the campground industry directly benefitted from her enormous contributions.”
Jackie was a true public servant. She will be deeply missed and reverently remembered by many across Indiana and our industry.
