National ARVC’s top priority is to create a fun experience while also mitigating as much risk as possible for all attendees when we gather together in Raleigh for OHCE2021, November 8-11. This event has been designed to provide the safest possible environment for all attendees, exhibitors and sponsors, and to limit liability for the event hosts.

Masks: We will be following CDC-recommended guidelines for mask wearing, along with any requirements put in place by the City of Raleigh and/or the State of North Carolina. Host hotels will be following CDC-recommended guidelines for mask wearing and cleaning procedures. National ARVC will have masks and hand sanitizer available onsite as well as signage to help prevent the spread of disease.

Meals and Receptions: We may serve no contact or pre-packaged food items during the event or provide stations where trained and gloved property attendants serve food to attendees “cafeteria style.” We may add additional bars and bartenders to minimize lines and allow for more opportunities for social distancing as needed.

Tradeshow: We may set the aisles in Exhibit Halls and Tradeshows wider – at least 12’ and may mark the floors for tradeshow traffic to go one-way per aisle.

Sessions: We will ask attendees to RSVP for education sessions to limit the number of attendees in each room, and seating will offer as much social distancing as possible.

Signage: We will provide signage in public areas reminding attendees of CDC guidelines, including to social distance when possible.

Public Spaces: The Raleigh Convention Center and host hotels will use CDC-recommended disinfectant cleaner to regularly clean high-touch areas. Soap offered in public restrooms will be made with an effective disinfectant.

Travel: Attendees should not travel to OHCE2021 if feeling sick or showing any symptoms of COVID-19.  If attendees onsite show symptoms, they will be asked not to attend the event.

National ARVC will be requiring all on-site attendees to acknowledge this policy during the registration process and again at the registration badge pick-up. To read the full liability waiver, click here.

National ARVC will continue to monitor the situation and work with the Raleigh Convention Center and the City of Raleigh, and, with attention to CDC guidelines, will adjust this policy accordingly. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact ARVC at admin@arvc.org.
