UNITY THROUGH GENEROSITY AWARD
This award is presented to a person(s) or group that has had a dramatic effect on the camping industry by generously sharing time, talents, or goodwill to strengthen the RV park and campground industry. This award is sponsored by The National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (ARVC), The ARVC Foundation, the Maine Campground Owners Association (MECOA) and the Northeast Campground Association (NCA) in honor of a peer that gave so much to the industry, not for personal gain, but for the good of the majority.
- Nominations will be requested from state, regional and national leadership, ARVC membership, partnering state associations, and NCA. Submitted nominations will be reviewed by ARVC staff and presented to the Unity Through Generosity Award Committee (UTGAC) for final selection.
- The Unity Through Generosity Committee is to be made up of one representative from The ARVC Foundation, ARVC, NCA and MECOA. - To be recognized by these organizational Board of Directors.
- A nominee must be or have been active as Board member(s), Committee member(s) or service volunteer(s) in a minimum of three of the four groups represented: ARVC, The ARVC Foundation, a state camping/outdoor hospitality association or NCA.
- Written nominations must include a brief description of the nominee’s service in a minimum of three of the sponsoring organizations and a narrative about the person or group that illustrates why that nominee is deserving of the Unity Through Generosity Award; 250 word limit per organization. - Award Criteria: An individual or group that has had a dramatic effect on the camping industry by generously sharing time, talents, or goodwill to strengthen the RV park and campground industry.
