Congressional Lame Duck Session Just That!
Recently the Congress held a lame duck session that we hoped would address several key initiatives including the Travel Promotion Act. According to Aubrey King, one of our public affairs consultants, members of that lame duck session "virtually limped out of town after accomplishing virtually nothing." Aubrey continued: Neither the Public Lands Omnibus Bill nor the Economic Stimulus Bill were voted on in either the Senate or the House. Announcing ARVC Partnership with Lowergear.com
ARVC has created a partnership with Lowergear.com, an online camping gear rental service that will directly benefit your park and the association through a profit sharing incentive program. ARVC members that choose to participate in this program will agree to post an ad or direct link to lowergear.com on their ONLINE camping reservations form. This will allow your camping guests the opportunity to “add-on” any last minute items needed for their upcoming camping trip. If a camper chooses to rent equipment from Lowergear.com, your park will receive 10% finders fee from the sale of that rental. Best part of the deal?

Kerry Fehr-Snyder - Nov. 17, 2008 12:00 AM
The Arizona Republic
Winter visitors are returning slowly, not flocking to the Valley as they traditionally have in stronger economies.
Several RV parks report that reservations are down and cancellations are up, although park managers warn it's too early to say for sure how the season will shake out.
"We're certainly going to see a little softer season than we have in the past," said Wendell Johnson, general manager of Palm Creek Golf and RV Resort in Casa Grande.
