Members use the Giving Tree, which is on display at the ARVC offices, as a means to show their financial support of the industry as well as to memorialize special events, significant accomplishments and/or people in their lives, knowing that the funding furthers the goals of the industry in which they earn their livelihood.

Leaves of Copper and Bronze, as well as Stones of varying sizes, are available for purchase and each will be engraved with the name(s) of the donor and a personal sentiment for all to see.

The first stone laid at the foot of the tree was presented in honor of SPC Brandon Sims, son of Jeff and Susie Sims of Compton Ridge Campground in Branson, MO and a distinguished member of the US Army’s 1-27 Wolfhounds, who died in the fall of 2006. Jeff, who has served the industry for many years as a volunteer, board member, Chairman of the Board, and Foundation board member, was on hand to acknowledge the presentation of Brandon’s memorial stone. The ARVC Foundation Board was proud to honor Brandon, Jeff, Susie and the entire Sims family with the dedication of his stone to the “Giving Tree”.
